Gold awarded recipe, Oriel Quadrupel Barrel Aged is the joy of our microbrewery. Brewed with patience from the finest ingredients, this batch was aged for eight months in freshly emptied rum barrels from the highlands of Ecuador. Distilled at higher altitudes, Ecuador rums are unctuous, oily, round, dark and sweet. The imprint of the barrels gave the beer sumptuous flavours of toasted oak, chocolate, honey and candied fruits. The taste is a mosaic composed of dried, red plums, ripe figs, raisins, spices, vanilla notes and roasted malts. The fermentation of the extra Muscovado and Demerara sugars utter the experience, creating a specialty beer with a high alcohol content, that will develop great features in time.
SERVING: 14 ºC – 16 ºC IN CHALICE, GOBLET OR TULIP GLASS. FOOD PAIRING: STEAKS, RIBS AND RICH DESSERTS
Este o bere complexa, brasata cu pasiune si rabdare in stilul unui Quadrupel belgian reinterpretat. Timp de opt luni, butoaiele proaspat golite de rom din Ecuador si-au pus amprenta asupra berii, oferindu-i toate notele de exceptie regasite in rom. Romul din Ecuador se distileaza la altitudini mari, rezultand o bautura inchisa la culoare, usor dulceaga si aromata. Dupa maturare, berea a dobandit note de stejar toastat, ciocolata, miere si fructe glacé. Gustul este un mosaic format din note de prune uscate si rosii, smochine coapte, stafide, condimente, vanilie si note de malturi prajite. Fermentatia zaharurilor complexe adaugate, Muscovado si Demerara au conturat caracterul, creand o bere de exceptie care dezvolta calitati unice in timp.
