Description
A collaboration between Oriel Beer and Bereta from Timisoara, an audacious Gose, aged in oak barrels for 11 months. Barley and wheat malt, wheat flakes, coriander seeds, Hallertau Mittelfruh hop, Himalayan salt, kettle soured with Lactobacillus Helveticus and fermented primary with a London yeast strain, Templed in twilight is a true gem among beers. A beautiful bright color with fizzy body and champagne characteristics round up with a burst of aromas of green strawberries, flowers, vanilla and toasted oak. The taste is mighty with brut, acidic notes, salt, limetta, biscuits, wood sweetness, vanilla parfait, creating an uncommon amalgam close to transcendence. A long aftertaste lingers on the palate leaving a dry, floral finish with sour notes.
SERVING: 10 ºC – 12 ºC IN CHALICE, GOBLET OR TULIP GLASS. FOOD PAIRING: GOAT CHEESE, COQUILLE SAINT JACQUES, SEA FOOD, THAI CURRY.
O colaborare indrazneata intre Oriel si Bereta Timisoara, un gose maturat in butoi de stejar timp de 11 luni. Brasata cu rabdare din malturi de orz si grau, fulgi de grau, seminte de coriandru, hamei german, sare de Himalaya, acrita in kettle cu Lactobacillus Helveticus si fermentata cu o drojdie lichida de tulpina britanica. Prima impresie este data de culoarea aurie, cu bule elegante si caracteristici asemanatoare sampaniei, cu o explozie de arome de fragi verzi, vanilie si stejar toastat. Gustul este intens, cu note acide, sare, limetta, biscuiti, dulceata lemnoasa, parfait de vanilie, creand un amalgam magnific. Un posgust intens care persista pe palat, lasand un final floral cu note acrisoare. Aceasta bere a fost maturata timp de 11 luni, intr-un butoi de stejar de 190 litri. Refermentata si maturata in sticla, ea poate fi pastrata o perioada indelungata, dezvoltandu-si caracterul in timp.
