Oriel Quadrupel Lagavulin Barrel Aged is a sublime beer from our craft repertoire. Aged for 11 months in barrels that once cradled the iconic Lagavulin 16 yo whisky, this Belgian Quadrupel emerges with an opulent chestnut brown shade. Its bouquet is a tapestry of dark fruits, smoked plums and raisins, interwoven with an undercurrent of peaty smokiness. The palate is treated to the symphony of dark chocolate, a hint of smoky leather, and a whisper of sea salt, all leading to a satisfyingly warm, bitter finish. Brewed with a selection of premium speciality barley malts, oat and barley flakes and a distinctive Belgian yeast strain, its persona evolves, embodying a harmonious blend of age old tradition and contemporary craftsmanship.
SERVING: 14 ºC – 16 ºC in a chalice, goblet, or tulip glass.
FOOD PAIRING: Best enjoyed with smoked meats, grilled steaks and decadent chocolate desserts.
Oriel Quadrupel Lagavulin Barrel Aged este o creatie sublima, maturata timp de 11 luni in butoaie care au innobilat celebrul whisky Lagavulin 16 yo, aceasta bere se dezvaluie cu o nuanta bogata de castan inchis. Buchetul sau aduce aminte de un platou de fructe inchise, prune afumate si stafide, impletite cu note de fum de turba. Palatul este rasfatat cu o simfonie de ciocolata neagra, note de sare marina, cu un final intens si usor amarui. Brasata dintr-o selectie de malturi de orz premium, fulgi de orz si ovaz, si o tulpina de drojdie belgiana distinctiva, personalitatea sa evolueaza in timp.
