Oriel Saison Pinot Gris Barrel Aged is our reinterpretation of a Belgian Saison, a historically top-fermented beer, now enhanced with a sophisticated wine-infused twist. Brewed from a medley of barley, rye, and spelt malts, merged with barley and oak flakes, hops, and fermented using a Belgian Saison strain, the result is a sunlit blond beer. After a patient 15 months aging in a Pinot Gris oak barrel from Liliac Winery, it doesn’t only bursts with an array of captivating aromas but also embraces velvety textures and fruity nuances from the wine. The mellow malt and the spicy hops remain pronounced, complemented by the wine barrel’s whispers of peaches, pineapple, and vanilla-woody undertones. Meanwhile, the yeast continues to impart a subtle, yet distinct, phenolic depth. A palate that is refreshing, while also being balanced and elegant.

Oriel Saison Pinot Gris Barrel Aged este reinterpretarea unei beri belgiene blonde de tip Saison, o bere istorica, de fermentatie superioara, care acum se imbogateste printr-un melange cu un butoi provenit de la crama Liliac din Transilvania.
Brasata dintr-un amestec de malturi de orz, secara si spelt, fulgi de orz si stejar, hamei si fermentata cu o tulpina de drojdie lichida belgiana specifica stilului Saison, rezultatul este o bere blonda care imbratiseaza o paleta de arome impresionante. Granele si hameiul isi pun amprenta, iar fermentatia drojdiei aduce o adancime fenolica moderata. Maturarea de 15 luni in butoiul de Pinot Gris de la Crama Liliac completeaza profilul aromatic, aducand accente de piersici, ananas si nuante lemnoase vanilate. Chiar daca evoca amintiri vinificate, aceasta bere ramane in esenta aceeasi bere Oriel Saison, extrem de racoritoare si care poate fi savurata fie cu un aspect limpede si gust pur, fie in compania drojdiei, pentru o consistenta mai pronuntata si un buchet mai bogat.
